Billy Greer has been writing for over 40 years, with a songbook of 1200+ songs, managed two singers over a span of 25 years. The transition from the music industry to the film/documentary industry was fairly smooth and organic. After being an extra on various films like "The Collaborator", (Martin Donovan, Director) and "Ecstasy", (Rob Heydon, Director) Billy moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to work with an Executive Producer on a movie project. During this time his interest in the industry started to grow beyond writing treatments and scripts.
As a producer and owner of iCogitate Productions Inc., he assembled a team of industry professionals to produce his first documentary "Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story". This story is set to be released in the Spring of 2020 and is the culmination of a professional journey coupled with a personal one.
Craig Huckerby is a seasoned broadcast and media professional with over 40 years in media.
Craig began his career with CTV Sault Ste. Marie in 1981. Craig’s experience ranges from news to drama including live productions such as election coverage, telethons and cooking shows. Since leaving CTV, Craig was instrumental in the launch of several hyper local media sites in Northern Ontario and is currently Executive Producer at ONNtv, Canada’s first local streaming station. Craig joined the team of iCogitate Productions Inc. in the Spring of 2019 to direct the feature documentary “Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story . Craig is thrilled to be part of this exciting and ground breaking production company.
Tami Rydall began her career in media over 25 years ago, honing her skills interviewing some of country music’s most legendary names. Tami’s passion for learning and connecting with people in a powerful way brought her to the film industry where she has worked for the past twelve years developing and producing online reality series and community news programming. Her kind demeanor and driven attitude have made her a valuable team member in front of the camera and behind the scenes, developing scripts, producing and directing episodes.
Tami joined the team of iCogitate Productions Inc. in the spring of 2019 as Executive Producer of the feature documentary, “Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story". Tami is incredibly proud to be a part of a team whose mission is to shed light on such important stories.
Steve Sauder is the composer and music director for iCogitate Productions Inc. He began playing piano at age 5, studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music under Alma Pick, and composition under Michel Rochon. He has had works performed by orchestras and choirs in Canada and internationally. He has scored several documentary films, including Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story for iCogitate Productions.
Gary Huckerby has been in the broadcast and video production for over 38 years. Gary became interested in film at a young age and began his career with CTV Sault Ste. Marie in 1983 where he is still currently employed as a Commercial Creative Producer. Also for the past 34 years, he has been an owner/operator of Patchwork Productions Inc. a local production company, now specializing in Media Transfers. Gary’s range of talents consist of Filming, Editing, Post Production and has participated in several live and video taped events throughout his career. Gary joined the team of iCogitate Productions Inc. in the summer of 2019 to shoot the feature documentary “Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story”. Gary is excited to be part of the team, and is looking forward to capturing more stories in new innovative ways.
Deedee Huckerby has been involved in the video production industry for over 30 years. Deedee has assisted on numerous video projects, from live broadcasts, television shows to various video productions. She is also an owner/operator of Patchwork Productions Inc. and wears many hats, from Treasurer to Camera operator. Deedee approaches every assignment with excitement, enthusiasm and professionalism. Deedee joined the team of iCogitate Productions Inc. in the Summer of 2019 to work on the feature documentary “Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story”. She is delighted to be part of this new and exciting documentary production company.
James Nelson comes to iCogitate from San Diego California, where he worked in property management. He came to Canada with his partner, who was completing a doctorate at University of Toronto. “Was I Next? The Sean Cribbin Story” is his first production, and he had a blast working with the other talented people on the production as Production Supervisor.
Melissa has been a Photoshop fan since the 90’s and is self taught. Melissa became involved in the movie industry in 2011 on the film “Ecstasy” doing craft service. After several show in craft service, she finally got her chance at doing stills photography in 2013 on “Breakout” and has gone on to do production stills on 10 additional films. But her real passion lies in being at the computer designing movie posters, CD/DVD or book covers. In 2015, she was flown to the UK to photograph, film and design a CD/DVD for the band IT. She has done several posters, book covers and CD/DVDs since and loves every minute of it!
Gerry has worked in the Accounting and Compliance sector for more than thirty years. Originally starting out in accounting he studied in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Over the next three decades he expanded his portfolio to include bookkeeping, tax preparations, payroll and advisory services for individuals and small businesses.
Joining the iCogitate team in December 2019, Gerry was able to combine his knowledge of international taxation and compliance with his passion for the arts and entertainment to provide our corporation with the experience and financial knowledge as our CFO. Gerry has always had an interest in the entertainment business with an early passion for the creative arts. He loves music and has drawn since he was a teenager. Being a creative with an interest in the arts, his accounting, taxation and compliance experience is the perfect fit for our production company.
